The hundred year commemoration ceremonies of the signing of Treaty number 9 continues with special events being held in Eabametoong and Marten Falls First Nations. More information about each of these activities can be viewed on-line at the links below ...

  1. The photos from Eabametoong First Nation of the events, people and ceremonies held on July 19 in their community.
  2. The NAN news story about the paddlers, lead by Chief Glen Nolan of Missanabie Cree First Nation who are following the original route of the treaty party, as they arrive in each of the communities involved in the treaty signing process.
  3. The Wawatay News story about the paddlers - "Retracing the steps of treaty commissioners" (July 28)
